Ki the Artist, aka Kieasha, is a very beautiful and talented songstress, writer, producer, and model from Houston, Texas. The upcoming star began singing and playing violin at the age of five, and writing songs since grade school. She began composing music during junior high school which eventually led her into producing her own tracks as well as tracks for other artists. Ki's musical influences range from Aretha Franklin, Patti Labelle, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Aaliyah to Dr. Dre, Timabaland, Missy Elliot, Isaac Hayes, BabyFace, and Devante Swing- a wide array of singers, songwriters, and producers. During Ki’s musical journey, she has developed an eclectic, appealing and unique style that’s solely her own.

Ki’s grandmother, Annette Perry, played an important and influential part in her musical career. Mrs.Perry noticed the delightful infatuation of song taking root in her granddaughter, and decided to enroll Ki into the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, (HSPVA). While at HSPVA, Ki was awarded as one of the school's most talented students.
Since that time, Ki has performed at talent showcases, corporate events, sponsored events, weddings, and club venues. Ki was previously signed to a production deal under recording artist Rome, formerly of RCA Records, who had the hit single "I Belong To You (Every time I See Your Face)", which was on Billboard's top ten in June of 1997. Ki and Rome recorded a duet which was a remake of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell's "Your Precious Love", which was also mentioned in Vibe magazine during one of Rome's interviews. Ki also sang the hook to Lil' KeKe's hit song "Superstars" from his album "It Was All a Dream" released in 1999. In addition to singing the hook on Fat Pat's "Dreamz" from his album "Throwed in Da Game" released in 1998.

Currently, Ki produces songs for herself and other artists such as Element The Rapper, Byron Bank, Mista Shano, and others. Her production style ranges from Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, and Electronica. She also performs as a solo artist and with various groups and bands; one being Bill Tillman and the Bill Tillman Band. Bill is a former member of the immensely popular classic rock group "Blood Sweat and Tears", whose hits included "You Make Me So Very Happy" and "Spinning Wheel".

In reference of working with Ki, Bill states, "In my fifty plus years of performing, writing, arranging, doing television shows, movies, radio, national and international touring with the biggest stars around the world, I was very much taken by Ki. In 2004 I met Ki quite by fortunate accident in Houston Texas. I was surprised that someone with such a petite diminutive stature could have such a powerful voice that only a few have been privileged to have shared with the world. At first I was pleasantly surprised, and then later I was a devoted fan. Ki has experience in production, recording and writing with her vocal performance prowess being second to none. Take a few minutes to listen and then you’ll know why I transport her from wherever she is to wherever I am to be a part of any musical experience I produce. She has many fans and I am sure as her career continues to soar many more will be added. It is my joy and privilege to introduce her and to wish her all the successes she can achieve, which I know will be many. All My Best, Bill Tillman".

Modeling was recently added to Ki's arsenal, and so far she has been well received and sought after. Ki has experience in fashion, runway, face, and print modeling. She is looking forward to adding promotional modeling to her resume and more print work. One of Ki's goals is to one day be a spokes model for her very own natural skincare and cosmetics company that she is currently formulating.

Musical creativity and modeling is not only second nature to Ki, but is effortless and appears to be pure genius. Ki’s energy does not exist in her looks alone, but it’s in the ability to create as well as perform. So in closing, I introduce to you Ki: A true gift to the music and modeling world, waiting to be opened.
